September 2026 ∙ Over the years, we’ve become very used to gathering in beautiful hotels, country houses, spas, and wedding venues across the Cotswolds. This month’s Cotswolds Huddle, however, took us somewhere new, and it turned out to be an absolute winner.
HUDSON’S Home & Antiques in Stratford-upon-Avon was a fantastic host, proving that a shopping destination can make just as brilliant a networking venue as a luxury hotel.

This month’s Huddle took place on the top floor of HUDSON’S, right in the middle of the antiques, vintage finds, furniture, artwork, lighting, and gorgeous homewares that make the shop such a joy to explore.
It created such a different atmosphere. Conversations happened among beautiful pieces, people wandered between traders’ displays with coffee in hand, and it felt relaxed, inspiring, and full of discovery, exactly what a Huddle should be.
And yes… there was plenty of mooching. As always, Huddlers couldn’t resist having a proper browse before, during, and after the event, and there were lots of fabulous finds spotted throughout the morning.

A huge thank you goes to owner and antiques expert James Hudson, shop manager Carrie, and café manager Michelle, who couldn’t have been more welcoming. From the moment everyone arrived, they made us all feel completely at home, and every single member of the HUDSON’S team was friendly, helpful, and genuinely lovely throughout the event.
∙ More than just a shop ∙
If you’ve never visited HUDSON’S, it’s so much more than an antiques shop. It’s a real destination, with 16,000 square feet spread across two floors, packed with antiques, vintage treasures, carefully curated furniture, gifts, home décor, and wonderfully unusual finds from an exciting collection of traders.
Then there’s the café, serving breakfast, brunch, lunch, artisan coffee, homemade cakes, and plenty of reasons to stay a little longer. It’s exactly the sort of place you meet friends for coffee and somehow end up spending half the day browsing.

And, of course, it wouldn’t really feel like a Cotswolds Huddle without Rupert Marlow there with his camera. Rupert has become such a familiar and much-loved part of our Huddles, quietly making his way around the room and somehow managing to capture all the conversations, laughter, little moments, and general Huddle atmosphere without anyone really noticing he’s doing it.
With HUDSON’S beautiful antiques, homewares, and wonderfully eclectic displays as his backdrop this month, he had plenty to work with. As always, we’re hugely grateful to Rupert for capturing another Huddle so brilliantly.

The Cotswolds Huddle has always been about bringing good people together in great places, and HUDSON’S Home & Antiques was another perfect example of that.
