Our July 2024 Huddle was anything but ordinary! It was our first ever Huddle outdoors, in a tent, in a forest… we were in the magical grounds of Heath Farm in Swerford near Chipping Norton.
Holiday cottages, weddings, and events
Heath Farm is known mainly for its luxurious holiday cottages, but also hosts events, is a wonderful wedding venue, and has wild swimming, foraging, and outdoor workshops in the grounds. It’s incredibly special and it was a fantastic backdrop for our July 2024 Cotswolds Huddle.
Atmosphere under the parachute
Let me set the scene for you: We arrived and walked down a long tree-lined lane in the forest, went through a hole in the hedge, and arrived to find the Huddle was to be set on the round stage in the clearing under a parachute tent. The atmosphere was truly special, and it perfectly complemented the delicious spread of teas, coffees, cakes, bread, and a forest feast fit for forest royalty.
20 of us gathered under the parachute and had wonderful conversations across the tables. It was a great group of people from all kinds of different businesses and industries in the Cotswolds.
Panoramic views and luxurious holiday cottages
But the magic didn’t stop there. As the event concluded, we set out on a guided tour of Heath Farm’s stunning grounds. We Ohh’d and Ahh’d and marvelled at the panoramic views, we took in the luxurious holiday cottages and the charming courtyard with its cascading waterfall and lily pad-dotted pool. The surrounding gardens, bursting with floral displays and buzzing with life, added a final touch of beauty to the day.

The Cotswolds Huddle at Heath Farm was more than just networking – it was an amazing experience, one we won’t forget any time soon. It was a chance to connect with fellow business owners in a unique and inspiring setting, all while immersing ourselves in the natural beauty of the Cotswolds.
