The afternoon tea itself featured a delectable array of finger sandwiches, freshly baked scones, traditional mince pies, and exquisitely decorated Christmas cakes.

To enhance the festive experience, Thornbury Castle offered guided tours of its historic grounds. Small groups were led through the castle’s impressive halls, royal chambers—where Henry VIII and Anne Boleyn once resided—and picturesque gardens. These tours provided insights into the castle’s captivating history, encompassing tales of royal affairs and reported spectral appearances.
Introducing Cotswolds Huddle Shopping
This particular Huddle marked the debut of Cotswolds Huddle Shopping. Guests were given the opportunity to sample and purchase premium beverages from local producers Vinotopia and Hentony Gin. Andy from Vinotopia showcased a diverse selection of wines, vodka, sparkling beverages, rum, and even moonshine, captivating attendees with his expertise. Aga from Hentony Gin shared the story behind their artisanal gin and offered tastings of their distinctive spirit.
