4 February 2025 ∙ What a glorious day for a Cotswolds Huddle today was as we flocked to Lower Slaughter for what was to be a lovely couple of hours of networking in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere.

Firstly, a big Thank You to the enormously talented Rupert Marlow from Three Pin Media for taking the fab photos from today’s event.
First class hospitality and magnificent cakes
Around 75 of us gathered at the utterly charming Slaughters Country Inn. From the moment we arrived, we experienced first-class service and hospitality – the team couldn’t have been more welcoming and from start to finish, everyone felt looked after and comfortable. A huge thank you to them for making our Huddle such a success.
Alongside tea, coffee, and water, we were treated to a magnificent cream tea and cake buffet. It was amazing! The sweet treats were fabulous and plentiful, and completely delicious.

Huddle Shopping
Our “Huddle Shopping”, the new membership perk for Cotswolds Concierge, saw Green & Spring and Suzie Catlin Designs showcase their wares to everyone… Emma had brought lovely Green & Spring candles, moisturisers and soaps, and Suzie had a selection of vintage items and lampshades. All gorgeous!

Familiar faces and new connections
But the highlight of any Huddle is, of course, the networking. It was fantastic to catch up with familiar faces and make some new connections. The relaxed and informal setting of The Slaughters Country Inn provided the perfect backdrop for conversations to flow naturally.
A big thank you to everyone who came along and made today’s Cotswolds Huddle such a success. And of course, a massive thank you to The Slaughters Country Inn for their hospitality, excellent service, and delicious cakes.
There’s always another Huddle
If you missed today’s Huddle, rest assured, there’s always another Huddle. I hope to see you at the next one, which is on Tuesday 4 March at Threeways House Hotel in Mickleton. And do make a note of all of this year’s Huddle dates and venues here: HUDDLE CALENDAR 2025.

All dietary requirements were catered for at today’s Huddle, which made this vegan very happy. The chefs at The Slaughters Country Inn had kindly made sure everyone were able to taste their sweet treats.
