Celebrating the 100th Cotswolds Huddle at Dormy House

4 November 2025 ∙ Perched high above Broadway with its picture-perfect Cotswold views, Dormy House is synonymous with effortless luxury and warm hospitality.

Today, the fabulous team welcomed 120 Huddlers from across the Cotswolds’ thriving business community, hosting us with signature grace and generosity. We were welcomed warmly and were delighted to see a full afternoon tea spread was waiting for us in the beautiful restaurant – an absolute triumph and an elegant selection of delicate sandwiches, dainty cakes, macarons, and steaming pots of fine tea.

The Cotswolds Huddle turns 100 ∙ A milestone celebration at Dormy House

A milestone moment was marked in the Cotswolds today, as we celebrated our 100th Cotswolds Huddle — a remarkable journey that began in June 2013. Held on the first Tuesday of each month, each Huddle takes place at a different beautiful venue across the Cotswolds, and this centenary gathering could not have found a more fitting home than the iconic Dormy House.

Good things happen

Founded on a simple belief — that great things happen when local people come together — the Cotswolds Huddle has grown into one of the region’s most loved business gatherings. From entrepreneurs and creatives to established business owners and professionals, each month’s event offers the chance to connect, collaborate, and celebrate what makes the Cotswolds such a vibrant place to live and work.

Networking, after all, isn’t just about swapping business cards — it’s about building real relationships, finding inspiration, and being part of something bigger. In an increasingly digital world, the Huddle continues to champion the power of local connection, helping people meet in person, share ideas, and spark opportunities that last well beyond the day.

A luxuriously lovely afternoon tea

The afternoon tea at Dormy House was nothing short of perfection — a beautifully presented feast that captured the essence of indulgence and elegance. Guests were treated to an array of delicate finger sandwiches, wonderfully dainty cakes, crisp macarons, and fluffy scones served with jam and cream, all accompanied by steaming pots of perfectly brewed tea.

Tails were wagging

We even had two extra-special guests at today’s Huddle — Ripley the beautiful husky and Riley the delightful dachshund, who both stole plenty of hearts (and probably a few crumbs from afternoon tea!). Dogs have always been part of the Cotswolds spirit — friendly, social, and always up for an adventure — so it feels only right that our four-legged friends are welcome at the Huddle too. After all, networking is better when tails are wagging!

Thank You, Rupert

As ever, our Huddle was beautifully documented by Rupert Marlow of Three Pin Media, whose stunning photography once again captured the heart of the occasion. His images don’t just show who attended — they capture the warmth, energy, and genuine sense of community that make every Huddle such a joy to be part of.
