A new women’s wellness space has opened its doors in Wellesbourne, marking an exciting next chapter for holistic beauty therapist Karin Minton and her growing business, A Blissful Balance.
The launch welcomed scores of visitors to the new premises on School Road and raised more than £350 for The Esther Project, a Warwickshire organisation supporting vulnerable women facing challenges including domestic abuse, homelessness, trauma, poor mental health, and addiction.
∙ FROM ONE TREATMENT ROOM TO A WELLNESS SPACE ∙
The opening represents a significant expansion for Karin, who established A Blissful Balance just over 18 months ago. What began with Karin working from a single treatment room has now grown into a dedicated women’s wellness space with five treatment rooms and a growing community of professional practitioners.
Together, they offer a wide range of treatments and support including massage, reflexology, advanced facials, reiki healing, lymphatic drainage, hypnotherapy, mindfulness, sound healing, counselling, and therapeutic coaching. At the heart of the business is Karin’s commitment to what she describes as the ‘Unseen Woman’, creating somewhere women can feel truly seen, valued, and supported.
The space has been designed to support women through many different stages and experiences in life, from adolescence and motherhood to menopause, divorce, grief, neurodiversity, anxiety, retirement, low confidence, and periods of significant change.

Visitors to the opening were able to explore the new space, meet Karin and the other practitioners, experience complimentary mini treatments, enjoy refreshments, and browse a selection of wellness stalls.
The first 50 visitors also received goodie bags, while a raffle helped raise more than £350 for The Esther Project. Karin said: “The launch of A Blissful Balance was honestly everything I could have hoped for. At one point we had people queuing out of the door, which was quite incredible to see.
“What meant the most was seeing A Blissful Balance being used exactly as I’d imagined it. What started with me working from one treatment room has grown into a women’s wellness space, and I already have some amazing practitioners working alongside me who share the same passion for supporting women. “I came away feeling incredibly proud and overwhelmed by the support, but this really is just the beginning.”

The launch also provided an opportunity to support a cause closely aligned with Karin’s own ambitions for A Blissful Balance. The Esther Project is a Leamington-based Community Interest Company supporting women across Warwickshire who are experiencing multiple and complex challenges.

Karin is now looking to continue growing the community around A Blissful Balance. As well as welcoming clients for treatments and wellbeing support, she is looking for additional practitioners who share the ethos of the space, together with people interested in using its studio for workshops, classes, and events.
The growth comes as Karin celebrates recognition in several awards. She has been named a finalist for Beauty Therapist of the Year at The Beauty Full Awards and has also received recognition in the UK Small Business Awards, Stratford Herald Business & Tourism Awards, and UK Beauty Awards. She recently received a Highly Recommended Award from Fresha too.
