June 2026 ∙ This month’s Cotswolds Huddle brought our community together in one of the most peaceful and inspiring settings we’ve ever Huddled in. Heath Farm, tucked away just outside Chipping Norton, was the perfect backdrop for a Huddle full of conversations, connections and discovering a truly special business built around sustainability, nature and slowing down.

∙ THANK YOU TO THE WEATHER GODS ∙ It was supposed to be raining all day, but as we arrived at Heath Farm, the sun was shining, the skies were blue, and it turned into a beautifully warm morning. We enjoyed the entire Huddle outdoors in glorious weather, surrounded by nature and countryside views. Then, almost as if someone had flicked a switch, the heavens opened just as the last ones were getting back into their cars to leave.
∙ A PLACE THAT IMMEDIATELY FEELS DIFFERENT ∙ From the very first moment, there was a sense of calm that is increasingly rare to find. Heath Farm is not simply a collection of holiday cottages. It is a place where the natural world takes centre stage, where wildlife, woodland, meadows, and gardens are woven into every part of the experience.
Surrounded by beautiful countryside, the venue offered us the chance to step away from our busy schedules and spend time connecting in an environment designed to help people breathe, think and simply be present.
∙ MORE THAN HOLIDAY COTTAGES ∙ While Heath Farm is renowned for its award-winning self-catering accommodation, including recognition through VisitEngland’s prestigious Gold Awards, it is also an exceptional venue for workshops, retreats, events and intimate weddings.
The setting lends itself naturally to meaningful gatherings. Rather than grand gestures or formal surroundings, Heath Farm offers authenticity, tranquillity and space. It is the kind of venue where conversations seem to happen more easily and where people leave feeling genuinely refreshed.

∙ NATURE AT THE HEART OF EVERYTHING ∙ What impressed us most was how deeply sustainability and nature are embedded into everyday life at Heath Farm. The estate encompasses around 70 acres of woodland and flower meadows, creating an environment where guests are encouraged to explore, reconnect with nature and appreciate the simple pleasures of the countryside. Woodland paths wind through peaceful landscapes rich with wildlife, while gardens, herb borders and growing spaces showcase a commitment to living in harmony with the seasons.
Throughout the site, there is a sense that nature is not something added as an attraction; it is the foundation upon which everything else is built.
∙ FROM LAKES TO VEGETABLE GARDENS ∙ Everywhere you look there are thoughtful touches that reinforce this connection with the land. The productive vegetable gardens provide an abundance of seasonal fruit and vegetables, alongside flowers grown specifically for guests to enjoy. A produce table allows visitors to share in the harvest when crops are plentiful, while free-ranging chickens, goats and family dogs all add to the character and charm of the farm. The beautiful spring-fed lake offers another focal point, attracting wildlife including ducks, geese, herons and even the occasional kingfisher.
∙ A SETTING THAT ENCOURAGES CONNECTION ∙ One of the things we love most about our Huddles is seeing new conversations begin and existing relationships deepen. Heath Farm’s environment seemed perfectly designed for exactly that.
The beautiful forest setting created the most welcoming space for people to gather naturally, the gardens and cottage terrace were the perfect spaces for a walk-and-talk, while the surrounding landscape offered endless opportunities to pause, wander and appreciate the setting. It felt entirely in keeping with the values of the Huddle itself: community, collaboration, wellbeing, and genuine human connection.
∙ A VENUE WE’LL BE THINKING ABOUT FOR A LONG TIME ∙ Some venues impress because of their facilities. Others because of their views. Heath Farm manages to do both while also offering something much harder to define: a feeling. It is a place that reminds visitors of the value of slowing down, spending time outdoors and reconnecting with the natural world. In an increasingly busy and digital world, that feels more valuable than ever.
We left inspired, refreshed and already discussing reasons to return.
∙ FABULOUSLY CAPTURED BY RUPERT MARLOW ∙ A huge thank you, as always, to Rupert Marlow of Three Pin Media for capturing the day so beautifully. Rupert’s relaxed approach and talent for documenting genuine moments perfectly reflects the spirit of the Cotswolds Huddle, and we are incredibly grateful for the wonderful images he creates month after month.
