Back at Burleigh Court ∙ February Huddle, fireside warmth, and fabulous networking

This month’s Cotswolds Huddle saw us return to the wonderful Burleigh Court – and as always, it didn’t disappoint. Firstly, an enormous Thank You to Corinna and her fabulous team at Burleigh Court for hosting us and making us feel so welcome once more.

The last time we gathered here was back in April 2025, when we were blessed with glorious sunshine and postcard-perfect views across the valley. This time… not so much. February in the Cotswolds delivered exactly what you’d expect: grey skies, persistent rain, and a general sense that spring is still having a long lie-in. Thankfully, the inside of Burleigh Court made up for the wet and cold outside.

With glowing fireplaces, a warm and friendly welcome, and coffee and Danish pastries that instantly lifted spirits, it wasn’t long before the cold and damp outside were completely forgotten. Conversations flowed, connections were made, and the whole space buzzed with the relaxed, supportive energy that makes the Huddle so special.

The Husky Huddle Selfie

Usually, of course, these moments are beautifully captured by the fabulous Rupert Marlow. Sadly (for us, not for his career), Rupert was on a major photography job in London today and couldn’t join us. Which meant… I was on photography duty. Now, I did set out well, I’m sure you will agree, as my first picture was a selfie with Ripley, the gorgeous and wildly well-behaved husky who came to Huddle with Joanna Galanis.

Then 70+ became 7

This was a great start, I was a bit smug and proud of myself for having set out so well. And then, somehow, two and half hours passed in a blur of interesting conversations, lots of laughs, and networking… and I completely forgot that I was meant to be taking photos until the very end when 70 people had become 7!

So what you have from today’s Huddle is one husky-selfie (slightly blurred), two more people-selfies, a questionable shot of four of the final 7 people standing, and absolutely no visual evidence of most of what happened. For this, I can only apologise.

Another brilliant Huddle

The good news? Rupert will be back with us next month. And after seeing what I produced on the photography front today, we should all be extremely excited about that.

Huge thanks, as always, to the wonderful team at Burleigh Court for looking after us so beautifully, and to everyone who joined us and helped make the event such a pleasure. From the warm welcome and cosy fires to the thoughtful hospitality throughout, everything created the perfect setting for relaxed, meaningful conversations and genuine connections. Once more, the Cotswolds Huddle reminded us of just how valuable it is to step away from our desks, meet face to face, share ideas, swap stories and support one another’s journeys.

The formidable Burleigh Court

And the fitting finish here is a collection of beautiful images that really show Burleigh Court Hotel, Restaurant, and Garden Spa at its very best. From its breathtaking views and elegant interiors to the cosy fireside corners and thoughtfully designed spaces, these pictures capture exactly what makes this venue so special. They showcase the atmosphere, attention to detail and quiet sense of luxury that make Burleigh Court such a joy to visit — whether for a Huddle, a celebration, or a peaceful countryside escape. If you’ve never been before, consider this your visual invitation to see what it’s all about.
